LightXtreme VPN Agreement
These terms cover four areas between you and LightXtreme VPN: account registration, subscription purchase, daily use of the client and after-sales handling, written as short, readable rules that say how a plan is counted, when money comes back and where the line sits between allowed and not allowed. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN means these terms are accepted.
1. The service in detail
The product is cross-region network acceleration plus privacy protection, delivered through clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux and extensions for mainstream browsers, running on more than 2,000 servers across 70+ countries and regions, with the client listing every selectable node.
Free trial and paid plans
Your first download opens a 30-minute free trial, and after that the service is sold as a subscription where every plan allows one account to stay online on 3 devices at once.
How you can pay
Accepted payment routes include Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and the subscription starts as soon as payment is taken, with clearing time following the route you used.
2. Refund and credit
A 30-day money-back guarantee is offered: inside those 30 days from activation you may request a refund from the client or by email and describe your usage, confirming a refund ends the plan tied to it, while plans older than 30 days or partly used are not refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Compensation when things break
Where our own servers cause a long outage and you report it promptly, we may extend your subscription as compensation.
3. Acceptable use
As a user you must respect local law and the network usage rules that apply to you, and you must not use the service for anything unlawful, including but not limited to:
- attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
- bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
- transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
- using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.
For accounts that breach these conditions we reserve the right to suspend service, restrict functionality or terminate the account, and to take legal action where the conduct warrants it.
4. Intellectual property rights
Intellectual property in the LightXtreme VPN client, the website, the interface design, the icons and the word marks belongs to LightXtreme VPN and the relevant rightsholders, so nothing may be copied, modified, decompiled, redistributed or used commercially without written permission, while personal data you create in lawful use stays yours.
Product changes
Features, node layout, plan pricing and promotions may be adjusted occasionally and the website always carries the current version, with notice before any change that touches the rights attached to a plan, and paying customers keep the previous terms until their current period runs out.
Scope of our liability
To the extent the law allows, LightXtreme VPN takes no responsibility for disconnections or speed swings caused by force majeure, a carrier outage or a local policy change, and since a VPN reroutes the traffic you send, a small number of sites may refuse VPN traffic because of their own risk systems.
