LightXtreme VPN Privacy Rules
This policy describes the information LightXtreme VPN collects while you browse the website, use the apps or take a subscription, the reasons behind each item, and the ways you remain in charge of your own data. We keep the footprint small on purpose: only what the service genuinely needs, nothing about you that is not required, and no resale of what we hold. When the wording changes, the new version goes up on this website.
1. Information gathered
Account and subscription records
Creating an account or purchasing a plan leads to us holding your email address, the order and payment record, the device count on the plan and the plan expiry date, all of which identify your account, activate the service and let us support you.
Connection log details
The client produces brief connection logs so that connections stay stable and faults can be traced, covering items such as node identifier, connection time and error codes. They never carry browsing content, account passwords or viewing history, and they are not used to build any picture of what you look at.
Site usage information
Using the site gives us technical data including browser type, device model, language, referrer and visit time, which we count traffic with and use to improve how pages behave. A third-party statistics script may use a cookie to measure visits, and you are free to clear or block cookies in your browser.
2. Purpose of the information
The information exists for a limited set of reasons: to activate and maintain your subscription, to run encrypted connections and safeguard their quality, to process refunds and support requests, to prevent abuse and fraud, and to improve the product and the website.
We neither sell your personal information nor use it for advertising profiles or marketing lists, save for situations required by law, authorised by you directly, or needed to complete a payment that you started.
3. Other parties
Payment runs through providers including Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and details you give them at checkout are handled under their own privacy rules. The client connects to servers we operate so the service can run, your traffic rides an encrypted tunnel, and the operators of those nodes never see which sites you visit.
Protection during transmission
Traffic is protected on the way through by Shadowsocks, Vless and WireGuard encryption with algorithms such as AES-256-GCM, and account actions between the website and the client travel over HTTPS as well.
4. Storage periods and your control
Account and subscription records are kept while the service is active and for a limited window afterwards for support and compliance, whereas connection logs are discarded quickly after troubleshooting. You can contact the service email to request an export, a correction or the removal of your personal data, and once an account is closed that information is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
Younger users
The service is meant for adults. If you are under the legal age of majority where you are, read this policy with a guardian and use the service only with their agreement.
Revisions to this text
As the product changes we may revise this policy, and each revision is published on this website; continuing to use LightXtreme VPN means accepting the version in force.
